I am truly agreed with the author's
quote. Traveling is a valuable tool in educating yourself on other cultures and
lifestyles. Personally, I am taken valuable lessons of traveling abroad:
self-discipline, Independence and accept the other person. Also the most
important lesson is that you discover yourself and your needs. It is an
opportunity to be conscious of American culture. I learned how adjusted my
lifestyle with American culture such as new foods, different traditions and
beliefs and different rules of etiquette you should be adapted with all these
things in order to be enjoying. Traveling abroad gives me chance to meet a lot
of strangers; maybe they become the new friends. In my opinion, it is very easy
when I communicate with others who have experience with other foreign cultures.
Hi, Ebtissam. I agree with you that traveling is a great opportunity to be conscious of the American culture; however, it is still too difficult for me to adapt myself with American culture, customs, and traditions.
